

Umuhoza Grace is a passionate and community-driven Rwandan woman, born on June 12, 2004, in Remera Village, Kamwambi Cell, Rwaniro Sector, Huye District, Southern Province, Rwanda. Since childhood, she has always shown a deep concern for the well-being of those around her, including her family, friends, and society at large. Her strong sense of empathy and commitment to problem-solving has shaped her aspirations and career path.
Grace completed her secondary education with a diploma in History, Economics, and Geography (HEG). Currently, she is pursuing her higher education at the University of Rwanda, Huye Campus, where she is enrolled in the Faculty of Sociology. Her academic focus is on acquiring professional skills to address societal challenges and contribute meaningfully to her community’s welfare.
Even as a student, Grace has gained valuable experience through various volunteer and professional engagements. In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, she actively participated in community outreach programs, helping people take preventive measures against the virus. Her commitment to social service was further demonstrated in 2022 when she joined the Working Ready Now Association, where she received training in fighting unemployment and enhancing entrepreneurship skills, particularly in self-employment initiatives.
That same year, Grace also contributed to national development by participating as an enumerator in the national census, where she played a crucial role in data collection and ensuring the success of the program.
From 2022 to 2023, Grace worked with Fukang Company, which advocates for diabetes awareness and wellness. She was actively involved in public sensitization programs on diabetes prevention and management in various branches, including Mutara and other locations, with the company’s headquarters based in Kigali, Rwanda.
Grace’s dedication and teamwork skills have been recognized in different ways. During high school, she won a Volleyball Peace Cup, which not only highlighted her athletic talents but also reinforced her ability to work collaboratively in achieving shared goals.
Grace is deeply committed to community development and environmental preservation. She believes in taking proactive steps to improve the well-being of individuals and society. Her vision aligns with the mission of Friends of Motherland Initiative (UBUMUNTU), an organization she is eager to contribute to through her passion for environmental protection and social welfare.
With a strong dedication to community service and social change, Grace seeks to expand her knowledge and gain practical experience in addressing societal issues. She remains committed to finding sustainable solutions that contribute to the overall development of her community and personal growth.
